Once again Hotel Del Luna delivers a wonderful, beautifully written episode here, one with welcome respites of comedy and poignant, well written bites of drama. Seeing Man-Wol and Chan’s progression over the weeks has been so beautiful and knowing their time is coming to an end, makes these fun playful moments they share all the more bittersweet.
In Hotel del Luna, however, working out their grudges was the way for the dead people to ease their pain. In this sense, I say that Hotel del Luna was more “proactive” about the dead people’s finding their own separate peace.
Once again Hotel Del Luna continues to deliver the goods, this time shifting the focus across to Ms. Choi in an effort to learn more about her past and backstory. It works pretty well too and building up to the dramatic finale, Hotel Del Luna certainly doesn’t shy away from some of the more shocking moments here.
The story is about Jang Man-wol (played by IU) being cursed and forced to become the boss of Hotel Del Luna for 1,000 years, where the only clients are dead souls. Yeo Jin-goo plays Goo Chan-sung, who is a Harvard MBA graduate and an elite hotelier becoming the manager at Hotel Del Luna.
Goblin for the cinematography. It’s also very similar to Hotel Del Luna. If you haven’t watched it, then do watch Crash Landing On You. Some parts of it were filmed in Switzerland and the sights were breathtaking. If you want another show with IU in it, plus the great visuals, also try Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo.
I watched hotel del Luna after being impressed with my mister. I have no idea who IU is before my mister and her performance in my mister impressed me and made me watch hotel del Luna. I like hotel del Luna ost the most though, probably one of the top kdrama ost.
Hotel del Luna. (2019) Both protagonists are immortal beings who are paying their faults for the deaths they caused in the past, only that in Hdl the girl is the immortal and the boy is the human. Both dramas have ghosts moving to the other world.
If you liked Hotel Del Luna then you will enjoy Goblin, it has similar themes of reincarnation and Gods. It’s a really good drama and it’s written by the writer of TKEM. The second couple is the cutest and the bromance is one of the best in K-Drama World. You can also watch Legend of the Blue Sea. It also has the element of reincarnation
